The Italy Independent School District is located in an Ellis County agricultural area approximately 45 miles south of Dallas on Interstate 35. Campuses include Italy High School, which serves grades 7-12, and Stafford Elementary School, which serves grades Pre-Kindergarten-6. The school district is classified 1A by the University Interscholastic League. A diversified curriculum is available. The Italy ISD educators believe that all children should be educated to their best of their abilities with learning opportunities tailored to individual needs. interests, and skills.
