Below you will find a poem written by Megan Richards expressing how we feel as Lady Gladiator Basketball players and what we are working for.  We are chasing a dream and are one step closer to making it a reality.  I know that West is a far drive but if any of you could make it out we would all really appreciate it.  Trust me, these kids know when you are there.  That is the first

 thing they will say... Mrs. so and so is here or there's Mr. whomever.  They notice and it fires them up.  They have worked extremely hard to get where they are.  We practice everyday after school for 2 hours and 2 and a half hours on Saturday, yes Saturday.  We would really love to see you there tonight at 6pm at West High School in West Tx.

“We Ready” is what you will hear us sing. 
 
We are focused on one thing and that’s a state ring.
 
We will do whatever it takes because there is no room for mistakes. 
 
Through the tears and the pain, we strive because we have basketball in our veins.
 
We will push and push but never stop. 
 
We are the Lady Gladiators and we’re rising to the top. 
 
We are the Nasty Nine and it’s our time to shine.
