Spanish Club:

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Candy is on sale 10-20-09 in the Cafeteria for $1.  They will be sold until next Monday. They're being sold to support the Spanish club students who are raising money to go to Costa Rica.

Art Club:

Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30 a.m. before school, and the 4th Thursday of the month at 3:40 p.m. after school.
You still have an opportunity to join--$5.00 for the year. See Mrs. Seidlitz, 307.

Go Green!
Has begun with collections from every room on Mondays and Wednesdays during 6th Periods.

Bowling Club:

Tryouts are currently going on until October 29th.
Open for any students 9th-12th grade, no experience needed.  Tryouts are being held from 3 P.M. till 10:30 P.M. (Call ahead for Lane Availability).

Tryout costs are $15 and if you make the team $80 for the season.  What's Included: Practice, Coaching, 14 District Matches, Equipment Advice, and Awards.  If FUNDRAISING allows: Letter Jackets, a Team Poster, Outside Activities.

FFA:

_____ had the Champion Junior Beefmaster Heifer at the State Fair of Texas.

_____ had the Champion Junior Polled Hereford Heifer at the State Fair of Texas.

We had a number of students that participated at the Heart of Texas Fair in Waco, with results to follow.


Christmas fruit and meat sales start Friday, October 23rd.
