I am excited to start another school year of working with our students, parents and school staff. It is truly a pleasure to work with you. This will be my 15th year here at Stafford Elementary. How time flies! I taught in the classroom for many years before moving into the counselor's position. I loved teaching, but oh how I love counseling with our students!
I want you to know that I am available to help Stafford students throughout the school year with any school-related issue that may arise. It is my goal to help students succeed. I find it so rewarding to watch students grow and be able to share in their success.

Parent Referral Form If you feel that your child would benefit from school counseling, please fill out the Parent Referral Form, seal it in an envelope and return it to school marked with my name. Please fill out the information completely as it will help me to determine how best to work with your child. As always, I am available if you have questions or concerns.
Teacher Referral Form Teachers, if you feel that a student would benefit from school counseling, please fill out the Teacher Referral Form and put it in my box. I will meet with you about your concerns.
Group Counseling Form The group counseling form is available for parents/guardians who feel that their child would benefit from attending a group counseling class. Group counseling is a specifically targeted counseling group where I meet with students based on certain needs. We meet for approximately six sessions; however, if your child needs more time working on a particular skill, I can work with him/her individually.
Please fill out the group counseling form and send it to school by September 10, 2010. The groups will begin shortly after this date. If you have concerns after groups begin, please fill out the Parent Referral Form, and I will work with your student individually or form new groups as needed.
